Honest answers to the questions people ask most.
If your question isn't here, the consultation is the best place to ask it.
I'm nervous about starting. Is that okay?
It’s the most common feeling new clients arrive with, and it’s welcome. Coaching starts where you are, with patience, technique and small wins. There’s no pressure, no comparison and no theatre. Many clients say their first sessions felt calmer than they expected.
Do I need any training experience to start?
Not at all. Many clients begin with no lifting experience. The coaching is structured around your starting point. The focus is on technique, confidence and steady progression. A first push-up is treated with the same respect as a long-held strength goal.
Where do sessions take place?
Coaching is delivered in-person across the Macedon Ranges and Gisborne area. Specific session locations are confirmed during your consultation.
How often should I train?
Most clients train two to three times per week. The right frequency depends on your goals, schedule and recovery. We figure that out together.
What does a consultation involve?
An honest, no-pressure conversation about where you are now, what you’d like to work towards, and the right next step. There’s no obligation to commit on the spot.
Is this a transformation challenge or program?
No. Coaching is a long-term relationship, not a 6 or 12 week challenge. The goal is sustainable progress: strength, confidence and habits that hold up for years.
Will there be an online or app-based portal?
A client portal is being developed for programs, logging, measurements and progress tracking. The current focus remains the in-person coaching experience.
